We are a group of 6 midwives who share similar views and beliefs about birth. Domino midwives have enjoyed a good working relationship since 1990 and over the years, although the individual midwives in the group have changed, the group has been actively involved in developing the midwifery option available to you in New Zealand today.

We have a commitment to our group practice which is organised as a registered company to meet our legal requirements for contracting arrangements with the Health Funding Authority. We are all active members of The New Zealand College of Midwives whose standards of practice guide our work.

The midwives in the group currently are: Annie Bennett, Susie Gibb, Karen Keefe, Rhonda Moore and Fiona Wood. Fiona Malthus is currently on maternity leave.

We also regularly have midwifery students working with us, as we believe that it is extremely important that student midwives are able to go out with independent midwives who encourage physiological/natural birth, but please do let us know if you are not comfortable with a student being present at your appointments or during your labour and birth.
