New Client

If you are looking for a midwife to care for you, please first read information about the way we work here to check that it fits in with your own approach to your pregnancy, before emailing us using the form below or calling 04 939 9580. Please ensure that you give us the following information after listening to the message:

  • Your name
  • Where you live (the suburb in Wellington)
  • Your due date
  • If this is your first baby
  • A phone number that we can contact you on, preferably a landline not a mobile so that we can keep our costs down, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. It would also be helpful for you to leave your email address so that we can contact you at all hours of the day or night.

Please note too that we get inundated with enquiries and have to make lots of call-backs and our clients birthing imminently, or who have just birthed, have to be our priority, so please be patient. Thank you.


Existing Client

If you are already an existing client, we are available 24 hours a day via the paging system. Dial 04 801 0206, and leave a message with your phone number. Your message will be taken by an operator at the Telecom paging service. Use "urgent" and "ASAP" if required. As we do have personal lives outside of midwifery, please restrict all non-urgent calls to within business hours (9am - 5pm).

If you are unable to contact your midwife with the first page repeat your call. In the unlikely event that you receive no reply to your second call, contact Delivery Suite, Wellington Women's Hospital on 04 385 5888.
